The Grass block is a type of Soft Block in the Cube Life Games. Not to be confused with the Dirt Block.

General[]

The Dirt block can be found throughout the game world in both Cube Life: Island Survival and Cube Life: Pixel Action Heroes. They are usually found on top of Dirt blocks.

Technical[]

  • The Grass block has four hit points.
  • When destroyed the Grass Block crumbles into multiple smaller blocks.

Strategy[]

  • The Grass block can be used to construct simple hiding places in the Survival Mode of Cube Life: Island Survival (though the Dirt block would be preferable).
  • The Grass block is a good decorative item in Creative Mode.

Trivia[]

  • The Grass block is one of the few blocks that is wider than its collision box.

History[]

The Grass block was introduced to Cube Life: Island Survival in version 1.0. Version 1.2 changed the behavior of all block so that damaging a block is a permanent action, this included the Grass block. Grass blocks appeared in Cube Life: Pixel Action Heroes as well, and behaved the same as they did in Version 1.2 of Cube Life: Island Survival. Version 1.5 updated the Grass block's texture and made it so that they crumbled into pieces when destroyed. This change was not carried over into the new version of Cube Life: Pixel Action Heroes, and Grass blocks retained their original texture in that game.
